People have lost their shelters, businesses, life, families, and their loved ones.
As a modest way to help Beirut to rise up again INITIATE’s volunteers and our partner STRONG CITIES are on the ground supporting families with masks, equipment, water, food and benevolence.
Youth volunteers are supporting the community by cleaning up the streets devastated by the catastrophe and sharing food as a small way to give Beirut back the life again.
Besides, INITIATE will take responsibility for supporting through rehabilitation for minor and basic destruction in 10 affected houses in different districts in Beirut.
الكارثة كبيرة وآثارها جائت مضاعفة على بلدٍ أنهكه الاقتصاد والوباء والأحداث المتسارعة.
إنطلاقًا مما خُلقنا لأجله، وهو خدمة الإنسان والمساهمة في النهوض المجتمعي، سارع فريق “initiate” ومتطوعوها وكاستجابة أولية وسريعة وبمساهمة من
“Strong cities”، وبالتنسيق مع محافظة بيروت ومحافظة جبل لبنان.
تم مشاركة العديد من الحصص الغذائية والوجبات الساخنة للعائلات القاطنة في محيط المرفأ، وعلى المتطوعين والعاملين في إزالة آثار الدمار،
وذلك بالتنسيق مع وحدة إدارة الكوارث.
كما وتعهدت الجمعية بالمساهمة في أعمال الصيانة وإعادة التأهيل لعشرة منازل في المرحلة الحالية.
لن ندخر أيّ جهدٍ ممكن، وسنحشد الطاقات لإعادة بيروت مدينة للجمال والحضارة.
