The Implementation of Conflict Preparedness Training Program’s Partner
- Background Information:
The Community Organization for Development and Empowerment-TCODE-INITIATE is a Nongovernmental, nonprofit, youth-oriented organization based in Lebanon and dedicated to assisting vulnerable communities through youth inclusion and empowerment. While keeping youth at its focus of its mission, TCODE-INITIATE continually endeavors in creating comprehensive and inclusive programs aimed towards the empowerment of youth, and its concentric circles of influence.
In the process of delivering its Mission TCODE-INITIATE aspires to keeping its status as a hub for youth allowing them to: access a safe space, and acquire knowledge and access to a network of social and political influencers enhancing their social participation in decision making processes.
This TOR outlines the roles, responsibilities, and commitments between INITIATE and five partner NGOs/CBOs for delivering a conflict preparedness training program. Each partner organization will participate in a 3-5-day intensive training and is responsible for multiplying the knowledge gained by conducting training sessions with beneficiaries, ensuring a total outreach of 750 individuals.
- Objective:
The objective of this partnership is to ensure that the knowledge and skills acquired by each partner’s trainers are effectively transferred to beneficiaries, enhancing community resilience and preparedness in times of conflict.
- Scope of work:
1.Training with INITIATE:
– INITIATE will conduct a 3-5-day training program for the selected staff from partner NGOs/CBOs.
– Each partner NGO/CBO must commit to sending two (2) staff members to attend the full training.
2.Multiplication Training by Partner Organizations:
– Each partner NGO/CBO will conduct 15 sessions targeting 10 beneficiaries per session.
– The goal is to reach a total of 150 beneficiaries per organization, with all partners combined reaching 750 beneficiaries.
- Responsibilities:
The partner NGOs/CBOs will:
1.Delegate Trainers:
– Assign two staff members to attend the 3-5-day training program with INITIATE.
2.Provide Training Space:
– Secure a suitable venue and equip it adequately for delivering the multiplication training sessions.
3.Mobilize Beneficiaries:
– Reach out to beneficiaries and ensure effective communication and participation in the sessions.
4.Conduct Training Sessions:
– Implement 15 sessions with 10 participants each and complete all required documentation and reporting.
– Ensure all training sessions are aligned with the content provided during the initial training with INITIATE.
– Multiplication Training Sessions: To be completed within one month after the initial training.
5.Handle Logistical Arrangements:
– Manage logistics, including refreshments for participants during each session.
- Deliverables:
- Submission of session attendance sheets and agendas.
- A final report on the training sessions, including feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Timeframe:
The contracting party is expected to provide his services in the period of 01.11.2024 until 15.12.2024
- Payment Terms
Amount: up to 240 USD per day x up to 15 day/s i.e. Total amount :3600 USD
Payment shall be made upon receiving deliverables.
