May is a very dynamic person who has worked with children, volunteers of all age groups, caregivers, addicts, refugees, organizations and so many community centers. Four years of voluntary work at the university at the Palestinian Cultural Club has developed her passion for voluntary work and an awareness of its Value and positive impact on the society. In 2003, May graduated from Beirut Arab University with a post Graduate Diploma in Psychology. May has participated in many training sessions and seminars in Turkey and participated in many others in Jordan, Spain and France as a representative of the Youth groups. She has attended many training sessions conducted by UNICEF- IRC and actively put all her knowledge into action as she continuously mobilized groups, coached volunteers, coordinated awareness sessions and designed project activities that brought up the best in people no matter how hard their circumstances were. Her experience working for World Vision in Lebanon has helped her to accelerate learning programs in the community centers she worked for. What is special about May is her ability to sustain good relationships with communities she works in years after leaving. May has especial passion in working in Palestinian heritage and culture; she is the head Jafra group for folkloric dancing where she stills a dancer with the main group and a trainer for the new generation.
